remaJust a few hours ago, young and talented Nigerian musician Rema dropped his new studio album titled ‘Rave & Roses’.

His fans on the internet are applauding him for releasing such a masterpiece despite his young years in the music industry.

Well, some discerning listeners who have paid close attention to the album have accused Rema of copying Wizkid.

Apparently, this is not the first time Rema has been slammed for trying to love in the shadows of Big Wiz.

Ever since the inception of his career, most critics have taunted him for learning from the footpaths of Wizkid but always denying that clear fact during interviews.

Well, this album appears to have cemented the sentiments of critics who have always held the notion that Rema is a copycat.

Below are some of the comments from Twitter users who have listened to Rema’s Album and believe that it is everything about Wizkid;

@Obaraide – It’ll forever be funny and sometime sound dumb for Rema to continue to lie about who influence his sound. I know it’s management branding from Day1 especially since they’re intentionally molding him in the image Of a certain artist. It understandable not to admit the same artist

@amosflash – That’s not even good, it’s dubious act, in america they openly embrace the truth about influence but Nigerians will always be Nigerian

@jurbinhlo – Imagine Wizkid or burna not acknowledging how Fela influenced them is how awkward this is
